People admin gets serious before a small company gets an HR department.

Part-time patterns, starter dates, leave clashes, private files and payroll hand-offs matter at 8, 18 or 40 people. The work is already too important for loose rows and private inboxes.

That does not mean every small team needs recruitment, performance, rota, payroll, advice and learning in one procurement exercise. HollyHR is being built for the useful middle: a dependable core without pretending to be the whole workforce stack.

Small-team software still holds sensitive records and decisions. We want an employee to finish the ordinary job quickly, while the operator can trust the history, permissions and edge cases underneath it.

Who is behind HollyHR? +

Two founder-operators work directly on HollyHR and its controlled onboarding. The product is deliberately not presented as a large sales or support organisation. Product, migration, security and privacy enquiries can be routed through info@hollyhr.com.

Is HollyHR already live? +

The public site and working core product are live in controlled early access. Joining the list records interest; it does not create an account, start a trial or guarantee immediate admission.

What happens after I join the early-access list? +

The team reviews the fit and can arrange a focused conversation or product walkthrough. If the team approves the waitlist email, that exact address can create a workspace; setup is handled deliberately rather than happening automatically from the public form.

Does HollyHR depend on AI? +

No. People records, leave, documents, onboarding and reports work without AI. The API and developer-preview MCP are optional technical routes, not the identity of the product.

How can I check HollyHR before sharing employee data? +

Read the published security posture, Data Processing Agreement and sub-processor register; inspect pricing and the bounded organisation-export contract; then use the contact route for a specific security, privacy or migration question.
