Why choose HollyHR over established HR software? +

Choose HollyHR for core HR, simple pricing and self-service export, not the widest suite. People records, leave, sickness, working patterns, documents, manual onboarding and built-in reports are shipped. Free covers up to 10 active profiles; Standard is £2 per active profile per month before applicable taxes. The trade-off is maturity: controlled early access.

What is included in HollyHR today? +

Searchable people records and dated employment history; working patterns, leave and sickness; Who's Away; private documents and acknowledgements; manually launched onboarding packs; departments and locations; built-in headcount, turnover and aggregate time-off reports; spreadsheet import and organisation export.

Is HollyHR really free for up to 10 employees? +

Yes. Free is £0 up to 10 active profiles and has no trial clock. An organisation with 11 active profiles moves to Standard, which bills every active profile at £2 per month — £22 a month before applicable taxes. Inactive profiles do not count.

Can I move my data into and out of HollyHR? +

A System Admin can import up to 500 people from CSV or .xlsx with mapping, validation feedback and preview. After a fresh security check, a System Admin can export 14 named CSV areas plus eligible uploads capped at 25 MB per file and 100 MB of uploaded-file content per export. Manifests record included and skipped items. It is not a database backup or guaranteed import elsewhere.

What does HollyHR not include yet? +

Not native payroll, rota and time tracking, expenses, recruitment, performance, learning, health and safety, engagement, a mobile app or HR/legal advice. Onboarding packs are manual, built-in reports are fixed, acknowledgements are not e-signatures, and leave does not blend mid-year FTE changes or calculate irregular-hours entitlement.
